About us
Good Morning Creative is Michael Scanlan and Matthew Nelson. We cut our teeth in television newsrooms and spent more than two decades between us chasing stories for 7 News and 9 News. Michael was a senior reporter and Matt a senior camera operator.
In 2023 we started Good Morning Creative to bring what we'd learned across our time in the media and in various senior communications roles, to brands and businesses. The name Good Morning was born from our time on the road. Generally your day was shaped by what happened before 10am. If things went your way, it was a Good Morning.
Over the past three years, we've delivered more than 550 projects for clients. We still work the way we did in news. Find the story, tell it clearly and get it done on time.

We produce and direct every job ourselves, so the person you brief is the person making your video.
When a job needs a bigger crew, we bring in camera operators, sound recordists, photographers and editors we've worked with for years.
