Drone Filming in Melbourne
CASA-licensed, fully insured aerial filming. We have ReOC, RePL and OONP. (Acronym speak for, we have it covered so you don't need to worry.)
Aerial filming
We fly for events, venues, construction and brand videos. Sometimes it's a stand-alone job, but more often it's part of a bigger shoot we're already on.
Good Morning Creative holds a Remote Operator Certificate (ReOC) from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). We also hold Remote Pilot Licences (RePL), and we're approved for Operation Overhead or Near People. This means we can fly over people in scenarios that often aren't allowed.
Because we're also the production crew, the aerials get planned and edited with everything else. You don't need to brief a separate drone operator.

FAQs
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold a CASA ReOC, our pilots hold RePLs and we carry [$XX million] public liability insurance. We're happy to send certificates.
Can you fly anywhere in Melbourne?
No. Some areas sit in controlled airspace near airports or have other restrictions. We check every location before we quote and arrange approvals where we can.
Can you fly near crowds?
It depends on the site and what approvals it needs. We'll tell you what's possible when we plan the job. We regularly talk to CASA so know how to get answers when it comes to flying.
What if the weather's bad?
We don't fly in strong wind or rain. Drones + water = bad. If the forecast turns, we'll reschedule but we'll keep you across this in the lead up to the shoot.
